Baking with Harry Potter

In between chapters of HP and the Deathly Hollows, I got an urge for something fresh baked. For Christmas in July, I present: The Summer Stollen! It’s a country white bread recipe with a mere 1/3 c.  sugar, eggs, a little butter and 1 c. of golden raisin/dried cherries mix. When they were done, I glazed the tops with apricot jam.  Result, light fruity bread that won’t put us into a glucose coma! Yum!
