Spray your perfume day!
Time for a new holiday- I christen August 9 as international Spray Your Perfume Day! I’m wearing La Dolce Vita by Christian Dior. I feel like I’m in an exotic garden instead of an overheated computer room.
From www.Fragrancenet.com I learned YEAR INTRODUCED - 1996 FRAGRANCE NOTES - magnolia, rose, cinnamon, peach, apricot, and bottom notes of vanilla and sandalwood. And it says is recommended for a mature fragrance lover for casual wear. Oh, that would be me! So no wonder I like it- it’s all my favorites. I’m not crazy about the roses that come from the florist. They seem to be bred to last and don’t have a good fragrance. Roses cut from a garden fall apart in one day, but they fill a room with rosy fragrance. I like the spicy fragrance of carnations and again it’s hard to find cut flowers with the fragrance. Guess I’ll have to grow my own!
Here’s an interesting YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKrHLKNuV1s The depth of his enthusiasm struck me as charming.
