Dorie’s Different Reality

I’m cold and I’m pissed about it! Our electric company doubled their rate per kilowatt hour, so since we don’t want double the bill we’re trying to be careful. Like wearing my fleece jacket in the house careful. Blah. We got the bill for the last 30 days and it’s a doozer. The average temperature last year was 30 degrees higher. (I remember runnning around with the car window open right before Christmas)  Anyhow,  one would expect a higher bill with colder temperatures- but we used less electricity this year with the whole being careful effort.
I wanna be warm! It’s all Edison’s fault, money grubbing old goblin! Tesla wanted everybody to have free electricity, so the system smacked him down. We honored Tesla by naming our dog after him- it’s the least we could do.
