From our ranch home in the furthest suburbs of Central Maryland- it’s me….Dorie! I’m mother to my adult daughter, mommy to our dogs Tesla and Vera Wang and companion wife to Michael, my very own swarthy pirate! I’m semi-retired and at home taking care of things. Lots of books to read, lots of crafts to try. Housekeeping interferes with this

My life so far is typical human: part Russian novel, part Greek tragedy and part Mel Brooks movie! Remember if you’re having a bad day, hang on and change will blow over you. The best days of all are the ones where you have a good laugh
